Step back in time and become a wrangler in a real cattle drive. Bring your trusty steed and bedrolls and help gather in the herd. Enjoy chuck wagon cooking, and some of the most beautiful scenery in Western Wisconsin. Located in Norwalk, Wisconsin, at the beautiful 3000 acre Devil's Hole Ranch, in Western Wisconsin, this is your chance to become a real cowboy or cowgirl. After a leisurely trail ride you can rest and relax or help search the hills of the Devil's Hole Ranch, gather the cattle and bring them into the corrals. That evening, you will enjoy a mouth watering authentic chuck wagon supper. Bring your bedrolls and plan on camping out for the weekend under the stars, in a tent, trailer, or camper. Campsites are primitive. Wranglers are encouraged to arrive on Thursday and "stake your claim" for the best campsite. Water for your horses is provided. Limited pasture is available with your fencing. Please provide any necessary additional feed. "COWBOY SHOWER" FACILITIES!! Schedule of Events: Friday August 14th: 9:00 AM - Two separate rides head out through the hills of the beautiful Devil's Hole Ranch. One a more leisurely ride for those who may not want the challenge of the more rugged terrain. The other a more challenging ride. Each ride will last about an hour and a half. 11:00 AM - Both groups gather together for grub. Buffalo burgers and all the fixin's. Enjoy a private musical performance by Maggie Mae . 12:00 PM - Set out in search of the cattle, round them up and bring them into the corrals for a vet check. All wranglers are encouraged to try their hand at ropin' and doctorin' if ya get the hankerin' too! 6:00 PM - Enjoy a mouth-watering cowboy supper. Steak, cowboy beans, potatoes and Wes's famous peach cobbler for dessert. After supper, relax and enjoy the atmosphere at the ranch and get a chance to meet new friends around the campfire. Bring your guitars and your best western singing voice! A ticket for the Western Music concert at the Historic Temple Theatre in Viroqua is included as part of your ride package for those who wish to attend. Saturday August 15th: 8:00AM- Enjoy a hearty western breakfast 9:30AM- Gather for a relaxing morning trail ride The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy as you please. Visit with your new friends, trail ride the ranch, continue your step back in time by enjoying yourself at Wild West Days in Viroqua. Gathering tickets also include admission to to the Wild West Days grounds, a souvenir poster, and a ticket to the Hell on Hooves Ranch Rodeo and Bullriding Bonanza on Saturday evening or Sunday Afternoon. 8:00 PM- dance to the music of the the "Silver Creek Band" at the ranch and enjoy complimentary refreshments in the Saloon! Sunday August 16th: Enjoy a leisurely guided trail ride into "The Devil's Hole". Enjoy Wild West Days in Viroqua. Pack up and head back to the home corrals.
